Well folks,
We seem to be answering many of the basic questions over and over and
over and over and over here.. Looks like time to start putting an FAQ
together on some of these things and posting in on a regular basis as
should be the rules files here in the echo.
Since we have many fine answers from everyone that participates here, I
will start editing on an FAQ shortly that will include some of these
responses under topics.
  Anyone that has ideas on what to include in the FAQ other than the
obvious topics we get a message regarding at least once a week, please
send your response under this topic.
 An FAQ is not intended to be a complete tutorial to audio systems for
every concievable situation, it is simply Frequently Asked Questions
with answers good enough to confound the innocent and elicit "Huh?"
responses. Seriously, a concise quick answer in as common language as
possible, perhaps with references on where else to look for more
information on the question in question.
