Greetings from the other side of the pond - to wit, Seattle.
King County Search and Rescue Association ARES member, former Emergency
Coordinator for ARES in Seattle.  President of Volunteer Emergency
Communications Foundation, which has supplied a fully equipped comm
van to the amateur community and which can (and does!) go anywhere in
the state.
I took the van to Entiat last summer and directed the efforts of some
40 hams for nearly a week at the peak of the fire.
14 years in SAR here in Seattle/King County.   Also volunteer staff
for King County Office of Emergency Management.
And, still married to my first wife!
