1938 Harley-Davidson EL  
 
Motor - ZERO miles on totally rebuilt (top & bottom) motor. 
Stock 61 cu. in. configuration. Balanced and blueprinted. 
Updated bearings and oiling. Built by one of the best 
Knuckehead specialists on the east coast. 
 
Uncut stock frame, all tabs. Original transmission, 
springer forks, fenders, oil tank, dash (needs gauges), 
bars, tool box (rectangular), brakes, etc. etc. etc. 
Gas tanks off '41-46.  
 
The thing is about 95% all there. About the only major 
items missing are the distributor, headlight and exaust. 
Some minor geegaws needed (grips, cables, brackets, etc.). 
 
I've been working on this bike for two years now (something 
always comes up that has a higher priority on my money). 
I sold my '79 FL to buy the thing, and I've gone the last 
two summers without a ride. :(  I could put another thousand 
or two and a few more months into it, and sell it for $25k. 
But I will NOT go another summer without riding! So regret- 
fully, I am offering it for sale. Taking serious offers, or 
interesting trades. Can provide pictures for serious folks, 
tho I'll have to charge $10, refundable if you buy the bike. 
I have to do this because of all the kids/morons, who have 
no intentions of buying, but will ask for pics anyway. ;) 
Bike is located in Northern Virginia area. Delivery possible.
