GL> Hi, I am after a spare acoustic guitar, and was looking at a range of

GL> give me some info on the following guitars, eg quality and value for

GL> Patrick, and last of all A&L (Art and Lutherie).

I've got the Guitar & Bass Buyers Guide here, so I can give you
descriptions of their various instruments and the addresses of the
manufacturerers. But I've never actually played any of those
instruments, so I can't give you first hand impressions or comment on
 the value for money issue.
Do they have these brands in in your area, or are you considering
ordering one sight unseen? If it's the latter, I'd be willing to go
down to one of the local stores here in Vancouver, try out a couple for
you and report back with my impressions. It's no problem - I like
 hanging out in music shops.
   Let me know....
      Cheers,
               Martin
