That was the one I was thinking about when I brought up rumours.  I think I
might have seen a few messages coming from mystic system(s) but not much as of
late that I've noticed.

Very true.  I can honestly say there are exactly zero around this part of the
world, nevermind fidonet based ones.  However when there were, I was a sysop of
one of the last and it wasn't a pascal based one.  It was written in c and
compiled by gcc, although I think it was called egcs at that time.

Absolutely nothing but then again the conversation that spawned the comment was
the lack of time and willingness to learn c as opposed to picking up pascal. 
My part of the discussion was that it is probably more worthwhile as well as
most practical to learn c.  I honestly believe that will get one further faster
despite any initial misgivings about it.

Mind you, given the lack of time one might have to devote, doing nothing is
probably the most attractive option.
