 Well, how do, Jean?

JP> This confirms that we are " apple-orange". I do not use the BW
JP> door and this is at the BBS not on your .qwk packet. If I remain in

This confirms we are "Granny Smith-Macintosh." The BW door has
been broken - from what I've read - since 2K. I too have to used the QWK
door which gives us `whatever.QWK' mail bundles to download.

I did read a few here report an a dissected QWK, or REP file, so they would
better be able to tell you what's going wrong on your reader. My problems
must have been with the BBS that was sending mail. Solution: Use
Multi-Mail. Long Term: Use a different BBS so now I can use BW again.
JP> a read session, I can keep all the flags/marks in a packet and refer

The brightest my light goes, is with a hidden file then, or the
C:\UTIL\PKZIP.EXE line in your config, or a SET statement is specifying a
switch to PKZIP. After that, I'm just blowing wind. Did you look for a
hidden file? That's where I'd still look.
JB> a fresh look at it.

 JP> I just did.

You've got a head scratcher!
JB> D) Look into the compression program. I know you wouldn't want to do
JP> I do not see where zip could affec that setting, it is
JP> internal to the BW OLR.

No, isn't it a line in your config? Maybe you could force an option that
could clear a sticky file? It's been so long, but "C:\UTL\PKZIP
-f" might force a file to overwrite, or some such.

JP> Penguins on the beach today.

I heard on the news that we were warmer than you today.

Well, good luck with the flags! I really have no brilliance to shine on the topic.
