DC>> A gui for DOS? That's sacrilegious!

ml>> haha... think back some 10+ years... DESQview/X was a
ml>> GUI multitasker for DOS and then windows 2.x came out
ml>> with windows 3.x right behind

DC> I know of DESQview, but never saw it in use.

DESQview is textmode whereas DESQview/X is graphical...

ml>>> win98se and requires sitting on the AC floor vent to
ml>>> operate so that the air blowing out of the vent can
ml>>> cool it... until the fan/heatsink

 DC>> That's a pretty big fan, isn't it?

ml>> yup but it gets the job done whilst also ensuring that
ml>> the rest of the house maintains a balanced temperature...

DC> Around here, I have the heat on!

so do we but we keep the fan turned on to circulate the air all the time...
even with the heat on, it doesn't get hot enough in/on that laptop to cause
it to error out ;)
