EC> LT> It seems to happen when a caller drops carrier while connected
EC> LT> to the BBS. The modem stays off-hook and the display cycles as
EC> LT> if a 300 baud caller was online, with the display showing a "3"
EC> LT> for connect speed. The modems will stay like this and will not
EC> LT> reset until I manually turn them off and then back on. Any ideas
EC> LT> as to what could be causing this? The setup string I used was
EC> LT> AT&F2W1S11=50L0M0&W&W1.
EC> Samething here, here my init string:
EC>ATH0&F2W2S11=55S95=2M0#CID=1S192=32S194=138+MS=V34,1,1200,33600
EC> All that it's strore in NVRAM, and I only use ATZ... I put the
EC>+MS=... to remove the 300 bauds connection, but still the same... But
EC>with the -17 rom code, it happen less often...
EC> I'm using a SupraFaxModem 288 (can we call it a 336 now! If so, I
EC>need a sticker to put on it!!) external...
I don't think we're doing sticker upgrades.
Try the -18 ROM...I've been happier with it.
