It's too complex, the code is not designed for that. That would mean a
redesign. And then it's less easy to install, I prefer the one click
installation possibility. If one wants two nodes, he can add the other net
in the config files himself. But FPD will not be able to handle this
itself.
It has been designed for FidoNet to give interested people an easy access.

New users wanting two Nets is extremely seldom, so it'd be work for only a
very small user group.

The source developed from an stage with no internet access, regular modem
or ISDN connection etc., so it was changed a lot before. And that is how it
looks now.

But if anyone is interested in handling the bad code and is able to program
in Delphi.. the source is freely available.
