My first login was at UCLA in July 1979 (I was all of seven years old!)...
and I was hooked.  Granted, over the years, I've drifted away from a lot of
things Internet (save for my BBS and servers insomuch as they are dealing
with the Internet for connectivity).  I gave up on newsgroups long ago, but
I was on the very first IRC server in 1988.

My very first "computer" was a Digital VT-100 with a Hayes
Smartmodem 1200 with a DEC 132-column dot matrix printer... no disk storage
for me, no sireebob! :P

But I digress...
