BK> EV> As I typed the word transistor, it made me think of BK> EV> something I said to someone last week about my seeing a lot BK> EV> of people always talking on their Celluar Phone. BK> EV> I told them that I remembered a Comic Book called MAD BK> EV> Magazine that I read in the 1950's that had a page in it BK> EV> about New Medical Problems. BK> EV> One the new problems was "Transistor Radio Ear" and there BK> EV> was a drawing showing a human ear that had grown around a BK> EV> battery powered radio because the listener had held it up BK> EV> to their ear for a very long time listening to it. BK> EV> I wondered if MAD Magazine has updated their article to BK> EV> include Cell Phone Ear now? BK> Has Dick Tracy upgraded from his two way wrist radio? Or his two BK> way wrist TV? BK> Maybe I should video skype to my daughter on my andriod device BK> to ask her what she thinks. Bob, It's been a long time since I've saw Dick Tracy in the Comic pages. One reason is I don't take a newspaper anymore. I remember he used a two way wrist TV 35 years ago, Wiki says he got a two way wrist computer in the 1980's. Wiki also says the Comic Strip is still published. * SLMR 2.1a #T348 * Operator error (E)xecute (T)rain (S)end Home --- SBBSecho 2.12-Linux* Origin: telnet & http://cco.ath.cx - Dial-Up: 502-875-8938 (1:2320/105.1) SEEN-BY: 3/0 633/267 640/954 712/0 620 848 @PATH: 2320/105 261/38 123/500 387/22 712/848 633/267 |
