Okay...



I have installed ubuntu and would like to look atg SyncTerm and some things

baffle the shit out of me... with respect to linux.



For now all I can do is surf the web and play solitaire.



I have downloaded syncterm for linux ... just how do I make that file

exicutable.



I'm going to get the dummies book and I'm joining a user group... but until

that time I would like to check out a few bbses.
