March  CASA Silhouette Match Results:
 In the hotly contested Any Sight Pistol class (8 shooters), a new
Shooter, Paul Campegna, used a borrowed IZH46 to put himself into the
AAA class right out of the box and narrowly lose a  shootoff with yours
truly (turkeys on the ramline) for Match winner .  Norm Holmiller got
the 2nd place when Paul was bumped to 1st, and Tom Krutch, another new
shooter, used the same gun he had loaned  Paul to take 3rd.
In the Iron Sight Pistol class, Newcomer Tom Krutch used his other IZH46
to take the match away from Norm Holmiller with a fantastic 33/40,
leaving a tie for John Spencer and Bob Winer.
There was a small rifle turnout.  Winer was way off his previous pace
with an 18, but still took MW against my crummy  17, and McMurray’s 15
(no it wasn’t windy).
Don’t forget the upcoming “Pumpgun” match we will be holding  concurrent
with our regular Silhouette match this May 3rd.  Shooters with
American-made pumpguns with iron sights will compete on scaled-up
Targets for the State Champion Pumpgun title!  Reduced entry fee of
$3.00 for the pumpgun as 1st gun would allow a 2nd regular gun in for an
xtra $2.00, making this a cheap way to become a contender.  ld
