I have a few objections, but not enough to justify ripping the movie. Peter Jackson has done a remarkable job making the most impossible book set into a movie, and keeping the story coherent. Telling it in "chronological" order instead of through dialogue "flashbacks" works, and works well. Some things were placed differently, but I've read LoTR recently, and it's all there. Let's see the entire movie, and the extended DVD versions before panning the movie, howzabout? It's about like filming /The/ /Oddyssey/, for crying out loud.
