Thanks -- that gives me some ideas for "fine detail work" that
needs to be taken care of.
 
I finished a port of runbbs.bat to shell last week; it's a bit of an
awkward script from a UNIX scripter's point of view, but I wrote it that
way to most strongly resemble the original runbbs.bat -- a good UNIX
scripter can come up with their own file, and an experienced Max sysop
should be able to modify mine without knowing much about UNIX shell
scripting.
 
BTW, is there anything that Maximus events can handle that cron can't?
