subject: Saving Marks

Hello, James, I hope that you are having a nice day !

JB> If I recall, the BW door was snap in setting pointers
JB> back. QWK... I don't know if it's even possible.

This confirms that we are " apple-orange". I do not use the BW
door and this is at the BBS not on your .qwk packet. If I remain in
a read session, I can keep all the flags/marks in a packet and refer
to my last read message ust looking at them. But -> my problem <- is
that if I get out of this packet in BW all flags/marks are gone.

JB> But my quest was *only* to hear you restate *your* problem, to give us
JB> a fresh look at it.

        I just did.

 JB> B) Try a different working directory.
 JB> C) Reinstall.

My next move when I get home.

JB> D) Look into the compression program. I know you wouldn't want to do
JB> anything funky, but maybe an option is "set" that could muck up the
 JB> works.

I do not see where zip could affec that setting, it is
  internal to the BW OLR.

JB> Do you see the "Rename bundle", "Save
Bookmarks" "whatever, whatever"
JB> prompt when returnming to the main menu?

Yes, I do. I have set it to be there and not be there using
the auto setting and still no safe.

JB> Lost in all the thonged bikinis are you? Cry me a river! Err... I mean
JB> "Cry me an ocean." 0-8=

        Penguins on the beach today.

Sig: It is so cold in TI, one would think
  that this is Montreal.
