You mentioned wanting a synthesizer for the radio. Try the following link for the DDS-4 at http://www.cqdx.it/woodbox/DDS4.html. He's got a neat digital synthesizer for the R-4 line, and the box is even styled after the Drakes. Check it out. I haven't got one myself, but I am thinking about getting one. In the meantime, that's one I keep in my Favorites. Let me know what you think. Are there any guys out there who have one and can recommend it? 73, Eric KA8FAN PWells wrote: PWells made an utterence to the drakelist gang ---------------------------------------------------------------------- HI gang I collect older rigs. Have 4 FT 101's and a few older Yaesus plus kenwoods and even a TR4. But I've always admired from afar the R4 series. Well after a bit of work I got a set of Twins: R4B and TX4B. Boy do I like the R4B It's dream with all the filters and passband and notch. It has everything that the other receivers should have. I love it, its so easy to tailor the receiver to receive the desired signal as best as possible. What a machine. Yes I must confess I am a 'button twirler' . I'm in love again!!!! Now all I have to do is find a synthesizer to get complete coverage. 73 Peter VE2FAR -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus.
