Scientists theorize that a meteor struck Mars eons ago, knocking
a rock into space which eventually found its way to Earth.
What if the rock had originated on Earth, a meteor struck Earth,
knocked the rock all the way to Mars, where another meteor then
struck Mars, knocking the same rock all the way back to Earth.
...Seems just as feasible to me.
