BG>>> Still reckon the 4000cps I saw with Russ was genuine... :)

IS>>> 1728cps at 14400 = 4032cps at 33600. 4000cps at 33600 =

IS>>> 1714cps at 14400. Believe it when I see it ..

BG> Forgot to mention before that in the days of 14k4s, using MNP4 on the old

BG> internal Sportster frequently showed transfer rates around the 1710-1715

 BG> cps

BG> mark, which is in keeping with 4000cps at 33k6.

Yes I allways got 117% efficiency back then.

You don't see that these days.

I have seen 116% at 26400, but I would say that was due to a speed shift up.

One day I would like to see 117% efficiency at 33600.

BG>> (Russ: Might be a good time to trot around one of your spare Couriers,

 BG> so

BG>> we can prove or disprove its 4000cps capabilities once and for all).

RB>> NO... they wouldn't believe us the first time (their

RB>> misfortune) So Stuff them....I only need to prove things to

RB>> myself (and we did that) ......no one else.

BG> True, but I'm still also convinced that it's protocol dependant too, as

 BG> Binkley

BG> has never quite managed 4000cps on large zips with its 8Kb ZedZap.

I think along the same lines, I am not a strong believer that ZedZap is

THE most efficient.

A lot of changes can take place in the time it takes for 8kb to go through

RB>> Actually, I'm ready when you are.

BG> Goodo, I'll talk to you after Xmas then, as we're getting ready to bugger

 BG> off

BG> south for a couple of weeks (away from this unbearable bloody heat).

OK.

Yes, Tennis ball sized hail is much better.

Stay COOL, then

Russell
