While writing to disk with an engraving tool, Terry went on about maxall for
OS/2 to Ron Mitchell
RM> What do you have CallPrivilShowRealNames set at? Are
RM> you sure that it is showing real names to everybody, or
 RM> just you?
TC> The setting is set at Sysop and I'm sure it is showing Real Names
TC> to everyone since I am using Oracle to review the Today's Callers
TC> .BBS file!!! I won't attach the reports to the board until the Real
TC> Names problem is fixed because I'll lose tons of users that like to
 TC> hide behind aliases!!!
Why not try putting it in, but for SysOp access only? That way, you get to
see what it's going to do fully. Oracle only show's 'Joe SysOp' (unless this
thing is actually accessing the callers.bbs or something).
Another option would be to set up a test user (an account which you can
change to wahtever access level you like, and use to test stuff), put the
thing online for a few minutes, tru it out with the test user, and then if it
doesn't work comment out or alter the access for the option in Max..
Hope this is of some help..
Cya..
