Hi, While everyone is busy talking about using CVS, I have just installed it on my Debian 3.0 system and I have a CVSROOT directory in /var/lib/cvs/CVSROOT, but there does not seem to be a system wide Enviroment settting for this. So my question is, is it acceptable to put CVSROOT=$HOME/cvsroot in my bashprofile, file, or should I use CVSROOT=/var/lib/cvs/CVSROOT. Any advantages, disadvantages eitherway. Damn and tarnation, looks like I am going to learn more about C and C++ than I care to, one way or the other so, what the heck.... and I am growing way to old to start learning programming languages.
