Well, I specifically said I wanted *NEW* drives, not reconditioned units 
or 'field-tested' disks, and I watched him pull the drives from a box with 
the seals still in place.  When the drives went into the machine, there 
were no partitions on them.

I guess they could still be pulling a fast one, but I'm going to assume 
not.
