Don't. I ran Max for two months before it occured to me that all the
critical stuff fit on a floppy, and that I could make "instant" backups much
faster than I could run a tape. Duh! :-)
If you have multiple hard drives, you can attain some measure of protection
by keeping a copy of the files in a separate directory on the other HD. (In
case your drive with Max dies on you.) A simple event that does a "copy
*.ctl" (or other extentions) should give you a little more safety.
