  This will be the first year the laptop has had a linux distro installed as
it's default boot.  The laptop is just there for me to waste time on or to
process the paperwork I need to do every 10 days to stay in the good graces of
the office (I email it and make them print it 5 months of the year - yes they
still insist on paper).  Oh!  the laptop is also our main "TV" for watching
DVD's and what not while there.
