-=> Quoting Dan Ceppa to Bruce Clark <=- BC> Option menu at packet close No BC> +-- Auto save pkt bookmarks Yes BC> So change yours to that, or: BC> Option menu at packet close Yes BC> +-- Auto save pkt bookmarks Yes DC> The second option can't be done! Since I didn't experiment, I suppose that when Option menu at packet close Yes is chosen, +-- Auto save pkt bookmarks automatically changes to the opposite. That reply was supposed to have gone to Jean. Goes to to show what happens when I'm half asleep. He also has to do an out of a packet, rather then a "Fast EXIT" in order to save the bookmarks. If Jean is using the BBS version of "new file name," then every 7 days it is starting to over-write the last week's file download. When I use a Blue Wave door, the packet may come over that way, but I hve the reader convert the extension to sequential numbers, so I have up to 999 before I need to worry. Of course, with a BW door, I can use the BW utility for saving BW packets into one larger packet. It has a "/conf=" switch, if you only want to save one or a couple of message bases from multiple packets to one packet. ___ Blue Wave/386 v2.30 --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5a* Origin: BBS Networks {at} www.bbsnets.com 808-839-6036 (1:10/345) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 10/345 106/1 2000 633/267 |
