Hi all,

A friend of mine PA2KW, just aquired a nice TR7.
The only thing wrong is that the rig has zero output on 10 meters and 60
Watt or so on 15. After some measuments we slowly conclude that the double
balanced mixer is causing the problem. We also suspect that CR1501
pindiode caused the mixer to be damaged, could that be? CR1501 was bad, as
seems in almost all TR7's! CR1501 is also to my opinion underrated, so we
put in a heavier type pindiode! (lost the typenumber sri).

Now the point is to find a replacement for the mixer. We think a SRA-3MH
would be the best one (tnx SM6RPZ for the info!) but where to find one!?
I do have some 17 dBm mixers, but who has experience putting in one of
those and increase LO? Is that an option at all?
