I've been wanting to make a trip to Hammond's Candies (in business since
1920) and pick my dad up some christmas candy... but I don't think I'm going
to have time for it

as for me.. .I'm getting a little concerned. Mom called me last night to
tell me she'd just finished wrapping Inyuk's present (NEVER in the history
of Wilson pet ownership has the pooch got a present! And this year, *this*
pooch... is getting 2!  good heaven's what's become of us!?) and in the
course of the conversation she told me about some muffins she's made (pecan
pie muffins) which were stellar, and that she hadn't yet made the
butterscotch candy!!!! HASN'T MADE IT YET!!! It's Dec 23rd now!!! I have no
idea what will happen if there's no butterscotch by Dec 25th.... this is
simply un-heard of...
