Subject: Re: timely upgrades for Australian SDLs? (fwd)
[edit]
I can make this guarantee however.
In the first quarter of 1997, USR are expecting a world-wide release of
flash upgradability to 56k. This includes Australia. We may, however,
fall approx. 6 weeks behind the rest of the world due to delays not imposed
by USR, but by Austel - The Australian Telecommunications regulatory
commission.
Once this upgrade is performed, it will be completely up-to-date and inline
with all previous versions of USR code. Australia is currently approx 3
revisions behind the US, however, we have found that our Australian
products are not as Bug ridden in some cases as opposed to the US versions.
