MV>RCA cables? Standard amp-cord plugs, I mean. Just looked. Now to ge
MV>the music books off the amp so I can scope out this complex deal..
I tend to complicate things needlessly. Called Junkyard Guitars in Royal
Oak. They had a speaker (i.e. non-shielded / non-capacitive) cable.
Biggest problem was how short the speaker wires were. Everything reached,
though. Had such Big Fun with the thing tonight that I missed Igor
Larionov's tying goal. But there seems to be a ton of "sustain" on the
Reverb channel. The speaker wires had to pass between two tube shields.
I wonder if I'm getting some regenerative something going on. And the fan
in the Brake never comes on (but it doesn't get hot, either). I think I'd
better look inside and see how the fan's supposed to be powered, whether
it's thermostatically-controlled (thermistor?) or what, etc. The Amp Dude
at work says that Korg is near-impossible to contact, but I might try
something as weird as calling England direct, via the address information
on the Brake box (to look for documentation).
And a bassist who plays "regular" at home and I are temporarily trading
my Dano Daddy-O for his TS-9 to see how we like 'em. Fun City.
