  Hi Mike,
I've been following this thread with great interest.... :-)
=-> Quoting Mike Taylor to Stuart Dubois:
MT> But you do like _Fish Rising_?
MT> It seems impossible to me to like it and not the _You_.
MT> Do you have _Continental Circus_? I don't have that, the _Greasy
MT> Truckers_ thingy they're on, nor _Vive Gong_. Other than that, I
MT> think I have 'em all.
I discovered Gong in about 1976 with the _Expresso_ album. I bought
a few more after that, but kind of lost interest after Pierre Moerlen
took over the group in about 1979. I've never heard the albums you're
mentioning (above). Are they all prior to _Expresso_ and the Moerlen
 era?
I can't find a Gong discography in any of my record guides. So, I
was wondering if you'd mind listing all the Gong albums you're aware
of? Chronological sequence and/or the release dates would be most
 helpful too, if possible?
MT> Obviously I'm biased but I think _Shanty_ stands as a
 MT> pinnacle in Hillage's career.
 MT> I like _Fish Rising_ and _L_ a great deal. I haven't heard
MT> _Motivation Radio_ which is supposed to be very good.
MT> _Green_ is OK, but very uneven.
I've only ever heard _L_ and _Green_, but not for a long time.
If you feel so inclined maybe you could do a similar discography
 for Steve Hillage? ;-)
    Cheers,
             Martin
