We also have an old oldtown in our family that has been passed down for a few
generations.. its been though alot.. great grandpa nailed it with buckshot
when
he was trying to take out a varmit and its been dropped and backed over with
van and who knows what else. they tried to fiberglass it once when the canvas
gave out, but I think they tried to use plyster fiberglass and it didn't
tick
for very long, next they got rid of that and put some strange white stuff on
it
to seal the holes and just painted it an ugly green. when we went to try and
renovate it we found that a major portion of the High part of the bow and
stern
was all rotted. most of that has been fixed but it is still out of
commission..
one or two days of work and it would be back in shape.. It was the most
table
canoe i have ever ridden in.. i have seen 4 people have a hard time tipping
one
guy in the water.. they tried from inside and outside. they finally got him
y
tricking him.. (G) would you consider selling it and if so how much? thanks
