Nice idea. Taking into account the statistical frequency of occurence of each
character might help, too (naturally easily adjustable for each language ;-}
).

Sadly, no. I still find 2 upper chars in a row. Just now I am a little
pressed for time, so give me a little while to study all you have done. If
this is getting very specifically german in it's output, perhaps we should
move over to the 4DOS.GER echo.
