| subject: | Hpt and new 64bit compile |
Hey Gert! Jun 23 19:13 06, Gert Koefoed Andersen wrote to All: GKA> Now when I have compile htp linux for 64-bit is i getting some error GKA> by run hpt toss as "Segention fault". Also I didn't put any of the husky libs on the system and instead have them running and linked in it's own enviroment. Is your system multilib capable? If not then there will be problems especially with zipped files and the such. I also built a 32-bit unzip in the Fido enviroment just to keep the DOS-think people happy but kept the outbound pkts as raw ftn format just to play it safe. Bottomline is that 16-bit apps are a real bugger to port to a pure 64-bit system. Much easier to do to 32-bit then to 64-bit.
