The Weems family is gathered around the island in the kitchen, greedily 
awaiting the removal of the cheese grits from the oven.  We are on pot #2 of 
coffee & the stockings have been pillaged.  We all received deodorising
soap & 
chewing gum.  Mum also got an onion & an avocado!

The fire is crackling & Mannheim Steamroller is rolling its way through a 
synthesized Christmas Carol.

I have called New Jersey to ensure the safety and wellbeing of my beloved & his 
family. 

All is well here (snowless & grey, but well).  I hope all is well for each of 
you!
