Does anybody know of a LAN analyser that we could obtain a demo of?

We have a network problem (Cable as always) and they will not pay for
someone to come in and sniff the network without proof that it is the
network and not the servers (Director is a twat)

I have made a request for analyser but they will not pay for it unless it
can be proved worth while.

I am currently banging my head against the wall!!
