Have you tried a cam corder.  Then maybe you wouldn't have to tell him
maybe he would tell himself.  I know I really learned a lot from
watching myself. The teacher could tell me a thousand times what I was
doing wrong but just letting me see it once went a long ways towards
fixing it.
