Jimmy, JA>Thank you! I'm ready for tech and general - waiting on JA>my wife to be ready for tech... Don't want to do it JA>without her! If that happens I'm afraid it will be yet JA>another hobby we started together and then I moved on JA>without her... She can still communicate via "Third Party Traffic", as long as a licensed ham radio operator is at the control point, monitoring and supervising her operation. I've done that at times, with "This is WX1DER, with Third Party Traffic", then I hand the mic to the unlicensed individual. When they are done, they hand the mic back to me, saying "That concludes Third Party Traffic. This is WX1DER". WX1DER is the current callsign (and a keeper). I was originally N5VLZ from August, 1991, to June, 2009. Then, I got the vanity callsign of AE5WX in June, 2009...having it until I got the vanity callsign of WX1DER just after Christmas, 2012. Daryl, WX1DER === þ OLX 1.53 þ I've repeatedly said to you, to not be redundant. --- SBBSecho 2.27-Win32* Origin: The Thunderbolt BBS - wx1der.dyndns.org (1:19/33) SEEN-BY: 14/5 19/33 75 34/999 90/1 116/18 123/500 128/187 140/1 218/700 222/2 SEEN-BY: 230/150 240/1120 249/303 250/1 261/38 100 266/404 267/155 280/1027 SEEN-BY: 282/1056 292/907 908 320/119 219 340/400 396/45 633/0 267 280 281 406 SEEN-BY: 633/410 640/384 712/620 848 770/1 801/161 189 2320/105 @PATH: 19/33 261/38 712/848 633/280 267 |
