Don,
I use Telix/VModem all the time. It was quick and easy to set up.
::> Device=C:\SIO\SIO.Sys (1,3F8,4) (3,3E8,4) (4,Internet:2E8,None:4)
::> Device=C:\SIO\VSIO.Sys (1,3F8,4) (3,3E8,4) (4,Internet:2E8,None:4)
First off, the VSIO.SYS doesn't take parameters. You might also want to
capitalize the Internet and None.
My lines look like this:
E:\SIO\SIO.SYS (COM1,INTERNET:3F8,NONE:4) (COM2:57600) {line wrapped}
(COM4,INTERNET:2E8,NONE:3)
E:\SIO\VSIO.SYS
Next, before starting Telix, you need to run the VMODEM.EXE program. It *HAS*
to be running and will provide the com ports defined as INTERNET on the SIO
line.
Next, load up Telix. Make sure it's set for the correct comm port/addr/irq.
It should then work. VModem provides a scaled down list of AT responses
(OK, NO DIALTONE, RING,...) but its enough :)
