To: Whoever else had a Seirra modem (or whoever can answer this for me)
I've been trying to play Doom over my new 28.8 Seirra modem with no luck(this 
is over direct modem connection, not through an ISP)
What happens is it dials and connects fine but then it just keeps sending the 
ID string to the other side with no response and whoever I'm trying to 
onnect
with gets the same thing.
I've tried this with two people! One using a 28.8(software upgraded to 33.6) 
USRobotics Sportster. And the other using a 33.6 Maxtech. The same happens 
with both.
So any ideas?
Oh yeah I'm not even gonna ask about connecting with Quake because I only 
now
one person in this whole town thats been able to get Quake without an ISP, 
Serial Link, or a LAN.
