| subject: | CV axle vs. transmission. |
My daughter took her car to a local mechanic and explained what it was doing with regards to lots of noise while driving and the shuttering under light excelleration and they told her it was the transmission. I totally disagree, being I drove the car, know the noise is not being caused by the transmission and the shuttering is due to bad joints of some sort in the CV axle (probably the inner part). Anyway, was wondering what others think about this one here? BTW, the mechanic never even looked at her car or drove it. - Mark --- WWIVToss v.1.40 Registered* Origin: http://www.weather-station.org * Bel Air, MD -USA (1:261/1304.0) SEEN-BY: 3/0 633/267 640/954 712/0 313 550 620 848 @PATH: 261/1304 266/512 140/1 261/38 712/848 633/267 |
