If you do MOT with a very thin mirror, you will need to be very careful and
have a full sized lap to do the work on.  I'd rather do TOT and not have to
worry so much and use several sizes of laps to cut and blend in the surface
shape.
Please note that I did state how to do it with the TOT direction and did
not recommend the MOT method.
