BUSINESS ENTERPRISE PROGRAM SUPERVISOR
IDAHO COMMISSION FOR THE BLIND AND VISUALLY IMPAIRED
CURRENT OPENING - BOISE
Salary Range: $1,141.79 - $1,679.11 every two weeks ($14.27 - $20.99
hourly)
DUTIES:
> Develops program goals and evaluates progress. > Provides input for
program
budget. > Recommends changes in policies and procedures. > Compiles
statistics on
business enterprise program and prepares federal reports. > Surveys
proposed
vending stand sites to determine profit potential. 9 Analyzes and
approves for
implementation job-site data provided by staff. > Determines food
service and
merchandise to be sold. > Develops layout of facilities. > Determines
equipment
and supply needs. > Prepares purchasing specifications for bidding
process. >
Develops alternative methods for blind operators. > Trains operators
in menu
planning, inventory control, record keeping, and payroll. > Answers
questions on
food service operations. > Assists operators in obtaining licenses,
tax numbers,
and insurance. > Advises operators on improved business practices to
enhance
profitability.
EXAMINATION: 100% Rating of education and experience. A minimum score
of 70 is
required to place on the register.
