I'd love to have your feedback, particularly with respect to configuration
interoperability.
 
FWIW, most filenames in your configs can be specified with the wrong
slashes and with drive letters and still work. But they ARE for the most
part case-sensitive (although wildcard expressions are not).
 
So, C:\max\users.bbs in a configuration file is *theoretically* equivalent
to /max/users.bbs on the unix side. And of course, relative pathnames
should work too.
 
One caveat; I believe silt is allergic to dos-style newlines, but I know
that mecca is not.
