I also used the UV light to try and find the A/C leak and I might have located it. I did see one connection that had a good deal of "glow" around a fitting. It is located off the compressor / hose that runs to near the radiator. There is a fitting that couples that A/C line to another A/C line that runs somewhere near the radiator. There is stuff and a glow around where they meet. So far, that was all I could find. I did notice my driver's side CV axle is starting to throw some grease on the inner boot. That axle has been replaced before, too. Must have been a bad part. Not sure if I want to try to replace that CV axle myself or take it somewhere. I will buy the part either way. I know I can remove it from the wheel bearing side, but not sure how to do the side that goes in the transmission. That makes me a bit nervous. It isn't a major problem yet, but it is on my radar now.. - Mark --- WWIVToss v.1.50* Origin: http://www.weather-station.org * Bel Air, MD -USA (1:261/1304.0) SEEN-BY: 3/0 633/267 640/954 712/0 313 550 620 848 953 @PATH: 261/1304 266/512 140/1 261/38 712/848 633/267 |
