 Well, yeah.  But having the important stuff on floppy makes it
 a LOT more portable.  The EXEs and the file base can be replaced.
 The CTLs and MEC files are the things with all the blood, sweat,
 and tears in them.

 Wouldn't take _that_ long to unzip the Maximus distribution files,
 do a fake install to a dummy directory, and just copy the EXEs
 over. 
 Even better, I zip up my Max directory (everything but the sub-folders)
 and store the zip on a different hard drive.  It's only a few megs
 and a restore would take less than 20 seconds.
