<< Thinking of the children now, about 290 children die annually in the
U.S. due to firearms accidents. Compare that to 3700 in automobile
accidents, or 1200 in swimming pool accidents.
The evidence is clear : firearms, which we have a RIGHT to, are
inherently safe. Automobiles, which we have NO right to, are
inherently dangerous. >>
Where's the cut line here. You state that 3700 dead = dangerous and 290 dead
safe. Where do swimming pools fit in? 1200 dead, a little dangerous or a
little safe?
It is a bit stunning to hear a seemingly rational person state that
omething,
ANYTHING, that causes 290 children a year to die is inherently safe? Are
ou
really ready to stand on that?
