I was sure JK> to point that one out to her Worst part of that, they SAY that you only have to keep them for three years... It really is better to just save things indefinitely, since you really don't know if you'll really need it to prove something like that. JK> hehe.. I think about opening an antique store with all these dishes I JK> have been collecting.. (I've added a few more since the picnic ).. JK> but I don't know if I could part with some of them Lol Collections are like children... there's always some reason why one doesn't want to part with each one of them, no matter how many there are. Growing up as the oldest of eight kids, I remember the occasional discussion around the dinner table (usually sparked by some one outside the family with some comment about how there were too many of us), about which one of us didn't need to be there... Even as kids, we all agreed that even the ones we fought the most with, we'd never just get rid of... we were a FAMILY, after all... :) Someone would propose one name, and everyone else would shoot it down... then on the next, and so on... The discussions could really get hilarious sometimes... ;) > The apple doesn't fall far from the tree... Hey, maybe your daughter > is worried that she's going to end up being a packrat, too... ;) JK> hahahahaha.. I'll have to tell her that one!!! too funny :) When you do, let me know her reaction... JK> Hope you had a great ThanksGiving! Ron and I had a really nice quiet JK> day yesterday - Today, Friday, the kids came up.. The kittens hadn't Ours was quiet, also. We'd been invited to my sister's (about 45 minutes away, in Bloomfield), but had already pretty much decided to just spend it with our son going out for dim sum (when we were there for a Sunday dinner, there was a sign on the door " We open Thanksgiving 10:30-3:00 " which gave us ideas ). Richard ended up taking a nap that he wasn't wakeable from in time, so I just went down by myself to meet RJ and his new girlfriend Kelly at the restaurant... I was just as glad I'd not planned to drive further away, since Richard would probably have fallen asleep anyway... ;) JK> seen my daughter's boys in a long time, so it was crazy for the JK> kitties at first .. but by the end of the day, they were all lounging JK> all over the kids and having such fun playing with them :) Kids playing with kids... :) ttyl neb ...
