Hi Everyone... sorry, but my hard drive died last weekend and I
threw an old 20MB parallel port HD on my Pentium. I knew the HD was
going for a couple of months now. Worse, it's less than 1 year old
and it's a Seagate 1.2GB.
Since I knew it was going to go out. I made a backup of my system
about a month ago. Unfortunately, out of 6 tapes, one ended up being
corrupted and I can't restore any of these to my laptop. And guess
what? Yup, the files I can't restore is my text files and my
archives from Fidonet.
So I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused anybody. I know
I have been slow in replying, but now I have no messages to reply
to. So if anything was important, please resend a new message.
Thanks!
Bill Wolff
