On 9/28, I released my first program! Mixer Control v1.0. Controls the
volume of any Sound Blaster 2.0 or newer card (and compatibles).
Next program: Audio Center. This is an "if I can find out how I will"
program. Combines the Mixer with a Wav Player (Player only, editor will
be a later program, this step is done already), a midi player (once I
decipher the specifications), and a CD Player (if I can find info on
MSCDEX. If anyone happens to see any, could you send it to me?). After
this comes a Wav Editor and (if I can) a midi editor. Probably will
bundle them together. Won't be free (there are a lot of people offering
$$$ for these programs. If I can pull them off, I'll get >$300 in
rewards alone)
Other projects...
HTML Viewer: Started, but somehow I broke the text object :( Being
postponed until after I do all I can with the SoundBlaster.
Games: I'd love to make some platform games (I know how and am able to
do it for DOS), but I just can't figure out how to use a bitmap.
If I get a chance I'll write some stuff to play with text capitalization
like Anne Page wants. I can't make them part of GeoWrite/GeoDraw, but if
you put the stuff in Desk Accessories and use drag and drop it'll be
close enough.
