CB>PS> After completing my masters' this summer I can tell you for a
CB>PS>fact that students in our elementary school who are behavior problems
CB>PS>don't learn math computation as well as non - behavior problem
CB>PS>students*. And I can tell you by how much they don't learn as well as
CB>PS>their counterparts.
CB>Interesting question for your next research project: which is cause and
CB>which is effect? Are poor students behavior problems because they can't
CB>perform well in school, or are students with behavior problems poor
CB>students because they can't behave?
I was wondering the same thing. If we take the group of defined
behavior problem students, successfully remove the behavior which
characterized them, then re-evaluated them, what would we find out? It
wouldn't surprise me if no gains were made. What is it about their
brains that created it problem. Is it a simptom, or a disease?
Keep your stick on the Ice,
Paul
